This is all related to the "BOUNTY" system. Here are basicly all the idea
1) a person may put money on somebody's head (already included)
2) trespassing, a person may trespass in the HBTC, or Guild houses
3) Theft, you may steal various items throughout the game.
4) Assault, related to theft. your attacked, KOed *NOT killed* but your items are taken
Well, there are a few things that happen.
(Bounty is not explained in this post)
Trespassing, if you've been caught by somebody tresspassing, they have the option to inform a "police man" & they will have a warrent of arrest. They will have to resist arrest, pay a fine, or go to jail. Resist arrest, they will fight off the gaurds, there bounty will increase from resisting but they might escape. Fine is self explanatory. Jail, they will go to jail, but they have the option of escaping. escaping will allow them to avoid jail BUT increases overall bounty. *WHILE YOU SPEND TIME IN JAIL YOUR STATS WILL DECREASE, IDK ABOUT THE AMOUNTS YET*
Theft, you may steal Guild items, or any other items ppl have. you can do this in 1 of 2 ways. 1: pickpocket, 2: pick it up & take it
If you just steal it, & ppl catch you, they can report you. If the owner of a stolen items finds it in your possession, they can report you. Pick pockets are the same way, but they must catch you first. & if the items on the ground, the same rules as pickpocketing apply. *also if they do not catch you, but suspect somebody stole something they should put a bounty on there head*
Assualt: basicly the a way to get items by stealing at any given time.
There are a 2 major skills that is related to these things, STEALTH. the higher the stealth the easier it is to steal things. Of course the other skill is "awareness". the higher the awareness the harder it is to steal things from that person.
Now, every time your caught doing a criminal act your "BOUNTY" increases. Your jail time = BOUNTY *divided by* 10. Fine = Bounty X 100.
Now in order to make sure these things are followed, guards are randomly traveling around the games. These are the people you report criminal info to, & if your a criminal and accidentaly find these guards they will confront you & make you RESIST, PAY FINE, or JAIL.
Now, WHY would we resist & WHY escape jail if it will only raise our bounty. Well there will be a NPC that will be in 1 of 4 places at all times. if you speak to this person, they will offer to pay your fine for 1/2 of the original price, but you must do a favor in return or they will not pay off another fine.
Bount on head: well, we should expand & if you have a bounty, the higher the bounty is the more chance bounty hunters will start to attack you. of course not WAAY frequently. but they will start to attacak you. If they kill you the person pays the bounty they put on your head to the game & nobody gets the money.
*SUPER OFFENSE* The banker would have like a ton of money to assualt and steal, but thats the only way to steal it & it will auto put your bounty @ maximum and your likely to get caught.
Lastly, if your "guild items" that you spend money to "MAKE" can be worn & used if they are stolen. BUT if you steal gym equipment, you may place it anywhere in the game. NOT in a guild house however. & if the owner finds you of course they can report you. *if they choose to attack you & take the items back, they get a bounty, if they kill you, UNLESS they put a bounty on your head, the original theft will keep the items for now.
Also, when you've been caught. If you go to jail, the owner gets there items back. If you pay the fine, the owner gets there items back.
YOU MAY NOT STEAL FROM SOMEBODY WHO IS AFK
*note* the more you're wanted the more guards are out to get you. & there would be a reasonable amount of $ to put a bounty on somebody's a minimum amount. otherwise ppl would put a bounty on everybody's head so that they will almost certainly get there items back eventually. also murder is not considered a crime. you may kill whoever with no fear of consiquence*
