First of all an introduction, this thread is created to merely refer to states in order to create an icon to work in-game correctly. (I did debate if this should go into help or guide, but I've chosen guide for obvious reasons.)
Now if you do not have access to an ordinary base, (the male white or w/e) it is hard to find the states and here you may find them with a brief description.
If the icon is idle, there is no state so leave this blank, if the icon is moving again it is blank but you must double click under the icon and select the "movement" box, on the icon (left side of it) a big M will appear.
Flight.
Referred to as "buku (or something)" or simply flight. In Dark Renegade "flight" is used. The same rules apply here, if the icon is idle in the air just name it flight (double click under the icon and enter flight) and if it is moving, name it flight and a select movement.
Training / Resting.
The training state is named "spar fury" and if you want it to appear when you hit Self Train / Shadow Spar / focus Train simply type "spar fury" under the icon.
Resting is name "meditate" and this will appear when you rest or.. well meditate o__o
Attack.
This one is simple, (and is needed or when you attack your icon will appear invisible for a moment) just name the state "attack"
Thrown
When your character is thrown it needs a state else it is invisible, simply name the state "thrown"
IT
This is the icon state for zanzoken / after image / IT. simply name the state "IT"
-The below ones are not entirely needed-
Enrage
this is when you transform / invert / revert, you click under the chosen icon and enter "enrage"
Run
this is for running on the treadmill, simply name the state "run"
Spirit bomb
this one is indeed obvious, it is used to show that the icon is using spirit bomb / death ball / acid bomb / super nova
simply name the selected icon "spirit bomb"
Ki
this is for most beam attacks I believe, and if you do have the base it is split from one icon containing all 3 steps to all 3 individual, I do not know for sure if you need "ki1, ki2, ki3" or just the "ki" one. However as said if you wish for a unique beam icon state select to icon and name it's state to "ki".
Feel free to contribute to information or perhaps anything I have not notified in this brief guide on basic icon creation.
I hope this serves as somewhat help for those who are trying to create an icon to use in game, thanks for reading.
